With the average family spending up to £200.00 a year on ink, it is important to keep track of what you have spent and to make sure that you are not wasting printing.
When you purchase a cartridge write down the date and keep a note of how much printing you do so that you can keep track of how long it is before you need to buy a new one. It is also worth comparing whether you have bought ‘original’ print cartridges from the supplier or ‘compatible’ ones. Although the compatible ones are a lot cheaper, it is worth seeing whether they run out quicker by using your budget tracker.
Once you have used your budget tracker for a couple of months you should be able to predict your outgoings for the rest of the year and also work out if and where you can cut back on printing.
